Attention busy moms 📣

As a women’s health physical therapist, who loves helping busy moms, here are 4️⃣ ways I help my clients stay active through the winter months.

1. Place a dumbbell in the hallway or corner of a room.
Every time you walk by, do a set of squats, deadlifts, or rows. By the end of the day, you may have gotten in 3 to 6 sets 🤯
Remember, every deposit counts in the strength bank.

2. Hold any plank variation during commercial breaks.
And, don’t be scared to get your kids involved too!
Aim for 30 seconds to one minute holds.
Try a different plank variation on each commercial.

3. Grab those extra steps while you’re waiting at sports practices or at the playground.
5 minutes here, 20 minutes there, it all adds up and helps you reach your daily step goals.

4. If the cold weather deters you from movement, join a local gym of your choice with a three month membership pass.
I personally love a heated yoga studio in the winter🧘‍♀️
